A massive field of clean white dominates the right two-thirds of the canvas, open and luminous, framed above by a band of deep charcoal grey that grounds the top edge with quiet authority. What makes this painting extraordinary is what happens on the left side and along the borders: a stack of vertical color bands — magenta, olive, near-black, teal, cerulean, and aqua — runs floor to ceiling in the left third, each stripe painterly at its edges rather than mechanically precise, giving the whole thing warmth and hand that a print could never achieve.

A razor-sharp band of electric yellow traces the inner edge of that color stack like a frame within the painting, cutting across the top and dripping down in a single controlled stream before pooling into the bottom right corner where it meets layered bands of cobalt blue, teal, and gold that rise from the lower edge like a landscape horizon. The composition manages to be simultaneously minimal and packed with visual information — the restraint of the open white field makes every color decision on the left hit harder and read further across a room.
